Phase One

In the first phase,
our initial focus was on renovating the wet areas, including four bathrooms, powder rooms, laundry room, and kitchen.

Before delving into the design process, we establish budgetary goals and seek to understand how our clients envision themselves in their living spaces. This research & strategy phase is a discovery process for both us and our clients, and one of the most thrilling phases. Key tools we have prepared, such as mood boards, floor plan options, and the selection of key elements, have a vital role in this meeting. Our preparations are geared towards helping clients articulate their desired feelings and dreams for the space. Decisions made during this phase set the tone for all subsequent stages of the project.

Thanks to our client's ability to provide clear guidance, we have made great progress even though this is the second phase as well, the conceptual & design phase. The price ranges were evident, and as always, 3D renderings would be very useful for our customers in the imagination and decision-making phase.

In the bathroom and kitchen designs, we meticulously selected colors and materials to embody a timeless, modern, natural, and ultimately coastal atmosphere, all while staying within our budget constraints. The rattan bar chair and the natural oak shelves add warmth to the neutral color palette and point to a love of nature, which is the raison d'être for this weekend home.

After achieving a cozy, elegant, and modern atmosphere in the wet room renovation, we couldn't wait to move on to the next stage and get even closer to the feeling we were looking for with decor and movable items.
Originally built in 2003, the East Hampton house features a Shingle-style exterior, a classic architectural style in the Hamptons that we planned to preserve from the beginning. Our clients, a vibrant Manhattan couple with two children, sought our expertise to infuse this space with a modern, elegant, and coastal-inspired style. While the home was primarily a weekend getaway for their family, it also needed to accommodate a possible future scenario: serving as a marketable vacation property to rent out while they are away.

Our process moved quickly thanks to our client's ability to provide clear guidance. Price ranges were clear and, as always, 3D renderings were very useful in our customers' imaginations and decision-making processes.

In the second phase, After completing the renovations in the bathrooms and kitchen, our clients were eager to extend the same level of sophistication and personality throughout their home. While their existing furniture held sentimental value, its generic appearance didn't quite capture the essence of their desired style. Our mission was to infuse the space with expressive elements that truly reflect their unique personalities.

With meticulous attention to detail, we measured each cherished piece of existing furniture, envisioning how they could seamlessly blend with our design vision. Utilizing 2D and 3D renderings, we brought our concepts to life, ensuring a cohesive design narrative throughout the entire home.

Despite the initial challenge of marrying our desired ambiance with the preservation of beloved furnishings, the end result surpassed our expectations. The home now exudes warmth and visual allure. Upon entering, guests are greeted by a coastal charm brought to life by rattan accents, airy white linens, and the natural warmth of wood. Vibrant splashes of blues and greens further enhance the tranquil yet vibrant atmosphere, reflecting the joyous energy of family life.

During our photo shoots, we intentionally left traces of everyday life untouched—children's artwork on the fridge, countertop appliances ready for use—capturing the authenticity of a lived-in space. For us, true fulfillment comes from witnessing our meticulously crafted designs come to life, adorned with the personal touches and memories of those who call it home.
